moving to tada to da' bloom

Long time no post, bloggerissimo. Welllll will I've been hectic busy here hear hey we're moving to Dublin! Lots of poetry goings on there in the capital city and am eager to jump right into the middle of that word world whirled wish we were on the move today!

Alas, we close on our house August 31st--aghst 31 days. a gasp.

Our new place is in Terenure, Dublin 6W, formerly childhood stomping ground o' James Joyce Himself. Here's a photo o' the crossroads:

The area has a sweet commercial district walking distance from our house--cafes, bistros, windowboxes of flowers, that sort of sing.

Here's a photo of myself and Sophie from a few months ago. As you very well may have guessed, she's getting bigger and bigger. Gawd awed she's each moment a lovely flower opening. Child=the body poetry. Cells spinning lyrical.

In the meantime, I owe the Chicago Review a review, which I should be working on right this red hot daughter-is-asleep.

BTW, I may not be saying much out there in blogville, but rest assured this blogger doth lurk!

I had a feeling you wouldn't last long in Wexford.
